Pedestrian Area

Surface Area: 650m²    Materials: Binder course and Mastertint, Buff

The pedestrian area to the front for the restaurants and shops had become quite a trip hazard due to the movement of the flags. The flags were broken out and removed the area was then based with binder course and topped with Mastertint in buff. The pedestrian area was restored to a good looking, safe and functional walkway.

Private Road – Dalveen Drive, Timperley, Altrincham

Surface Area: Approx. 400m²    Materials: Binder Course, SMA Surface Course.    Area: Timperley, Altrincham

This road in Timperley, Altrincham was in very bad repair for many years and eventually the residents came together to put the road right. We kerbed and re-surfaced the road to make it smooth functional and bump free, really enhancing the look and serviceability of this road.

VJ Donnegan Ltd – Aigburth, Liverpool

Over the past 12 months we have completed various reinstatements for VJ Donnegan following United Utilities and other utility providers’ service work.

Most recently we have carried out groundwork’s and machine laid macadam to a road in Aigburth, Liverpool, following the installation of new mains sewers.

Hotel – Access Roads & Car Park

Surface Area: Approx. 1500m²   Materials: Binder Course and Surface Course

The entrance road at this hotel was broken up tarmac the surface was bumpy and unbalanced with potential trip hazards, drainage channels were broken causing flooding and blockages. We planed out and fitted an eco-friendly drainage system before re-surfacing with macadam. Finally we re-lined with thermo plastic lining to create parking bays. A smooth and serviceable entrance and car park incites customers with a great first impression on arriving at the hotel.

Stockport Crematorium for the Co-Op Funeral Services – Buxton Road, Stockport

Surface Area: Approx. 1400m²   Materials: Stone, Binder Course, SMA Surface Course, Concrete Edgings    Area: Stockport

The Stockport Crematorium was looking tired and the car park, road and pathways were deteriorated and littered with hazardous pot holes. We dug out and removed the old and uneven kerb edgings from the car park and the road running through the crematorium. New kerbs were installed and we machine laid macadam to give a seamless finish. Stockport Crematorium was transformed into a pleasing environment that offers a safe walking area for pedestrians, wheel chairs and prams.

Small Driveway – Hale, Altrincham

Surface Area: 50m²   Materials: Binder Course, SMA Surface Course with additive    Area: Altrincham

This is an example of a smaller driveway in Altrincham. Hand-laid with macadam that includes an additive permitting for slowing application while giving the same long servicing result as SMA with a lower penetration. The driveway was finished with beautiful edgings that were chosen by the customer to give a bespoke finish. This driveway will not only give years of service but enhances the appearance of the property as a whole.

Large Driveway – Buxton, Derbyshire

Surface Area: 250m²   Materials: Macadam SMA   Area: Buxton, Derbyshire

This large driveway in Buxton was machine resurfaced using SMA and finished with attractive edgings. A striking feature was made of the turning circle using tegula block paving, creating a functional and fetching driveway that really adds appeal and value to the property.
